What a hassle selling a house is!

It closed on August 23, 2005.

Last minute documents, moving trucks, hired help.

We are now in an apartment in Stanwood, Wa.

Now comes the fun part, looking for property.

So this this the week I move to the new place. Final Papers get signed for the sale of the house.

Canceling and signing up for new services.

Septic is cleaned and certified by the county. We even got a video from Pierce County Health department.

Property hunt is in progress.

I hate all these little fees and forms everyone wants a piece of me from. But we have been putting up with it pretty well.

I have been using the Opteron chip with Debian AMD64 distro for about 3 months now.

I have to say I am very impressed with the overall performance and conversion from a 32 bit Intel to a 64 bit AMD enviroment,

The Opterons throw off a fair amount of heat, but less than the 3Ghz and 4Ghz Intel flavors

These chips will give Intel a run for their money.

The house finally sold.

After endless looky loosers, one really unpleasant couple that made a bit but backed out, and a few wannabes.

The old Yorke homestead should close on August 23, 2005
