Got my back zapped
Had a Lumbar radio frequency neurotomy done today.
Watch the animation if you are not squeamish.
Basically, they cooked the nerves in my back!
This should help my chronic back pain.
I had one of these done on my left side 2 years ago.
This time was on the right side at L3,4,5.

Yurt Home - Part 1
For those of you that don't know. I am building a "Yurt Home"
But not just any yurt.
I have living, bathroom and bedroom areas. Separate buildings for kitchen and storage. And a meditaion yurt.
Placement will depend on the terrain or the property I purchase.
We are planning to go "green" as well and generate our own electricity as well.

All Moved in
What a hassle selling a house is!
It closed on August 23, 2005.
Last minute documents, moving trucks, hired help.
We are now in an apartment in Stanwood, Wa.
Now comes the fun part, looking for property.

Moving week
So this this the week I move to the new place. Final Papers get signed for the sale of the house.
Canceling and signing up for new services.
Septic is cleaned and certified by the county. We even got a video from Pierce County Health department.
Property hunt is in progress.
I hate all these little fees and forms everyone wants a piece of me from. But we have been putting up with it pretty well.

House is sold!
The house finally sold.
After endless looky loosers, one really unpleasant couple that made a bit but backed out, and a few wannabes.
The old Yorke homestead should close on August 23, 2005

House is for sale again
The house is back on the market again.
We had a buyer, but it didn't work out with them.
In the meantime, we have been looking for new property in Snohomish County. Found a pretty nice 5 acre lot in Marysville, Wa.
Need to do some more research on the property this week.

Sold my home
I have been wanting to build a yurt and live semi-off the grid for a while.
Selling the existing home was the first step.
Now I need to find some land fast!
I plan to blog the construction with text and photos.
