I got this nifty greenhouse as a house warming present. It took a few days to assemble and I needed a friend to help with the final assembly steps. I am in full fall planting mode. Verbena seeds are germinating. Sunflowers and a few others seeds are going in the frames. Tulip bulbs were on the planting [...] The purchase of our new home we started in May, finally completed yesterday. After a title issue that required a superior court guardianship hearing and some 11th hour feet dragging by Wells Fargo Bank on a wire transfer, we own 4.6 Acres on Camano Island, WA The cats have brought the death toll this season to the following: 20 Moles Blackie cat brought in another mouse still alive. Scared the hell out of Laura. A few seconds later the mouse was running for the door, but Blackie dealt the death blow. Updated the body count to 3 mice. The current death tally from the cats is now 3 mice and 12 moles. Thankfully, the cats are not into birds. The worst part is cleaning up the ones that get eaten. Mole entrails are a mess. Our black cat has caught 2 moles and left the present today Insane To configure Flickr + Highslide go to Admin -> Setting -> Flickr + Highslide Going to try Flickr instead of rolling my own ‘‘ Camano Island is very pretty and quiet. The cats have adapted so well that they have caught 2 mice and 3 moles so far. Will get some pics up soon. |
